1st March - Bears of US Bonds routed
04 March 2013
WEEKLY CHART
The long-term chart from 2008 shows how well-constructed the bull trend in the TNotes has been.
Prior Highs have acted as good support ratcheting the market higher and higher.
But the real news in how the latest test of the band of support from the highs in 2001 and 2012 around 132 has repulsed a determined attempt to break down over a number of weeks.
Last week’s sharp rally has totally routed the bears.
DAILY CHART
But the bulls are hard put to find much excitement from the short-term chart.
The market has traded in a tight range since June 2011, with no internal structure suggesting an early break out.
